Individual Packaging, LPC

CLASS: Concept I, Individual Packaging Design (VCom Department). The VCom department teaches graphic design as a tool for communication. Our students are taught to use their critical and creative skills and their training on the computer to create graphics that convey a defined messages.
ASSIGNMENT / OUTCOME (Condensed Milk): Students were given a small can of condensed milk and asked to redesign the label, including all content on the original label. Students printed out their digital files and wrapped them around the can for a final product. Below is one final digital file with crops and bleeds for printing, along with finished product as part of all the students finished products.
ASSIGNMENT / OUTCOME (Honey & Oils): Students were given a glass jar of honey and bottle of olive oil and asked to design a label. They were asked to define the brand identity. Students printed out their digital designs and wrapped them around the products. Below is one student’s digital file as well as the final product along with other students.
